Principles

- Shayuquan
as an internal martial art is based on three principles: movement
intelligence, physical well-being, and peace of mind. You develop
these during solo and partner exercises with increasing difficulty
levels, like pushing-hands, sparring or self-defence. Shayuquan
internal techniques depend on how good you know how your anatomy
works. At a certain stage, you will be able to use the uncanny
power of gravitation. This means developing senso-motor skills,
gathering experience, gaining maturity and remaining calm.
